Washington:
US President Joe Biden said Thursday he still expected to meet Xi Jinping in the "near term" after angering China by referring to its leader as a "dictator."
"I expect to be meeting with President Xi sometime in the future, near term," Biden told a joint news conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
