Davos, Switzerland: US Secretary of State John Kerry says next week's planned start of Syria peace talks may be delayed by a day or two.

But he says any delay in the U.N.-led negotiations would be just a matter of logistics.

He made the comments before meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Earlier, Kerry met with the U.N. special envoy for Syria, Staffan de Mistura, who's convening the peace talks Monday in Geneva.

Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met on Wednesday in hopes of settling differences about which Syrian opposition groups would be eligible to attend the peace talks. It's not clear whether they made progress on the issue, which has threatened to delay the peace talks.
