Cairo:
US Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Paris today to push for a truce in the deadly Israel-Hamas conflict in the Palestinian Gaza Strip, he said on Friday.
Kerry, who has been leading international efforts to reach a truce, said at a press conference in Cairo that he will meet in Paris with the foreign ministers of Qatar and Turkey, primary supporters of Hamas, and top British and French diplomats.
He earlier said that no ceasefire had been reached yet in the deadly conflict.
