Beijing:
Local authorities in northern China say that a fire in a karaoke bar has killed 11 people.
The Changyuan county government in Henan province says the fire happened at 20 minutes after midnight Monday. A total of 35 people were sent to hospital, and 11 of these died.
The county government statement says the fire is being investigated.
