Legitimacy of Afghanistan Election 'In The Balance': John Kerry

Kabul: US Secretary of State John Kerry warned Friday that the legitimacy of the Afghan election and the country's future were threatened by a bitter dispute over presidential polls.

"The election legitimacy hangs in the balance. The future potential of the transition hangs in the balance," Kerry told reporters as he began a day of tough diplomacy in Kabul seeking to mediate an end to the crisis.
