Lithuania: Lithuania's Defense Ministry says a Lithuanian military jet has crashed after colliding midair with a French NATO plane.
Defense Ministry spokeswoman Jovita Bazeviciute said that the French Mirage fighter managed to land after the collision, while the two pilots in the Lithuanian jet ejected before it crashed near the Zokniai air base in northern Lithuania.
Bazeviciute says the pilots have not been located. France currently has fighter jets based at Zokniai as part of NATO's air patrols over the Baltic countries.
