Earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck southeast of Malaga in Spain today.

A major earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck about 162 km (100 miles) southeast of Malaga, Spain, today, the US Geological Survey said.

The earthquake was 33 km deep, the USGS said.
