Magnitude 6 Earthquake Strikes Western Iran: US Geological Survey

London: A magnitude 6 earthquake struck western Iran on Wednesday at a depth of 36.7 km, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

It hit 59 km (37 miles) west-northwest of Dezful, near the border with Iraq. No further details were immediately available.
