A Facebook conversation about the upcoming release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" turned ugly when an 18-year-old threatened to shoot someone for revealing a spoiler, according to authorities in Montana.

Lewis and Clark County prosecutors charged Arthur Charles Roy with assault with a weapon, a felony offense. Roy became "angry" when his Facebook friend revealed a subplot Thursday night, and those threats led to a school lockdown the next day, according to court documents.

Roy was arrested Friday and remained jailed when he appeared in court Monday, when his bail was set at $10,000, the Associated Press reported. Records show that he was no longer jailed as of Wednesday.

After reading comments about the subplot, Roy became "angry" and posted photos of himself holding a weapon that he indicated was a Colt 1911 with "a hair trigger," according to the probable cause affidavit.

Roy - who had a Facebook account under a different name - wrote about "coming to find" the person and "get him," the documents read.

The Facebook friend worried about Roy coming to his house Thursday or to his Helena school the next day; Roy made a direct threat that he would come to the "school and shoot him" during lunchtime, the victim told authorities, according to court documents. The student called a school resource officer that night about the threats.

While the Facebook photo and threats were deleted shortly after they were posted, other students had seen the exchange and were "uneasy," so they reported it to the school the next day, the documents show. The school was placed on lockdown.

Roy was arrested Friday, and his mother asked authorities why since it was only a "BB gun," the affidavit reads.
