Kathmandu: A mild tremor measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale has been felt in central Nepal, some 10 months after the deadly earthquake that killed nearly 9,000 people.
The aftershock was recorded at Sindhupalchowk district, 100 km east of Kathmandu at 10.22 pm yesterday, according to the Nepal Seismological Centre.
No damage was so far reported in the incident.
A total of 429 aftershocks with magnitude 4 or more have been recorded after the devastating earthquake of April 25 last year.
Earlier, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the same place on February 5.
