Taiwan held military drills on Wednesday simulating potential nuclear and biological attacks.
Over 1,200 personnel from different agencies took part in the exercises held at the port in New Taipei City.
Military, police strike force teams, firefighters and rescue teams took part in the exercises, which included a hostage situation on board a bus.
The drills also included a simulated biological attack on board a ship.
Workers in protective suits searched for radiation emissions and hostages were freed.
Government officials said the drills were aimed at raising Taiwan's ability to cope with unconventional warfare.
