Dhaka:
Miscreants on Sunday targeted the Indian mission in Bangladesh's port city of Chittagong during a four-day nationwide shutdown that began on 11 November 2013.
There were conflicting reports over the incident, with police describing it as a blast first but later said it was just a cracker. Another reported a crude bomb blast outside the office of Assistant High Commission at Khulshi.
Mainul Islam Bhuiya, officer-in-charge of Khulshi Police Station, said that the cracker hit the boundary wall of the office around 6:30pm, Daily Star reported.
Nobody was injured in the incident. Police are trying to identify the attackers, an official said.
