Missing plane's transponder was deliberately disabled, says Malaysian PM Najib Razak

A Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 carrying 239 passengers and crew aboard, which went missing seven days ago, remains unaccounted for, leaving family members in tormented wait.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak today addressed a press conference.

  • Transponder were switched off in area bordering Vietnam and Malaysia
  • Movement of missing Flight MH370 was consistent with deliberate action of someone on plane
  • According to the date, the last communication with plane was on March 8
  • Last satellite contact from Malaysian plane more than six hours after primary radar lost
  • Plane's last communication in two possible air corridors: Kazakhstan and Thailand, and Indonesia to southern Indian Ocean
