In a case of dishonour killing, a woman and her alleged boyfriend were tortured and hanged in Pakistan's Punjab province by her family. Her father, brother and husband have been arrested.
A local police official Allah Ditta said that Khalida Bibi, a mother-of-three, and her alleged boyfriend, 21-year-old Mohammad Mukhtar, were murdered in the village of Mian Channu on Thursday, the Express Tribune reported.
Ditta added that the bodies of Bibi and Mukhtar were transported to hospital for autopsy.
Bibi's father, brother and husband confessed to killing her and Mukhtar for having an affair.
