Al Qaeda's new leader, 59-year-old Saif Al-Adel, is planning a major terrorist attack on London to avenge the death of his former boss Osama bin Laden.
Soon after being officially appointed the new chief of Al Qaeda, Saif al-Adel called on his men to crush London.
Confirming the news, a Taliban spokesperson said, "Our new leader has asked for a big plan for London. He believes the UK is the backbone of Europe and must be crushed."
Who is Saif al-Adel?
Saif Al-Adel is a former Egyptian special forces soldier. The 59-year-old fought the Russian forces in Afghanistan in 1980s.
He was also once Osama Bin Laden's security chief and is on FBI's most-wanted list since 2001, carrying a 3 million pound reward on his head.
