Wellington: New Zealand's Queenstown Airport was evacuated today following a bomb threat on a plane.
According to a statement released by the New Zealand police, a note mentioning "bomb" was found on a plane by a cleaner following which the terminal was evacuated.
While no explosives were found on the aircraft, baggage and the terminal building were still being searched.
Aviation security and police personnel were also making enquiries with passengers.
