Mogadishu, Somalia: At least nine people were killed Friday in a twin bomb attack in the central Somali town of Baidoa, police said, the latest in a string of attacks.
"A suicide bomber detonated himself amongst a crowd of people drinking at busy teashop in the town. We have so far counted at least nine civilians, among them journalists, who died in the attack," police officer Abdirasak Ali told AFP. He said at least 12 others were wounded.
