Now, swine flu alert in Buckingham Palace
London: There are reports that one of Britain's best known landmarks is battling swine flu but that doesn't seem to have made a difference to the throng of visitors milling about the Buckingham Palace.

A palace spokesperson has confirmed that two members of staff have contracted the virus and the Queen has ordered a crackdown on the standards of cleanliness and staff have been told to follow NHS guidelines strictly and the two who have the virus are being kept in isolation.

Of course, utmost is being done to ensure members of the royal family are put to minimal risk.

When one of the visitors were asked if he thought it'll make a difference that there are some with swine flu in the palace, he said, "No, we are very excited."

And will it make a difference to visitors? The answer was: "No. Why should it? You can get it from anywhere - on the train or tube etc.'

Meanwhile, the Queen may move to her Scottish estate Balmoral to cut down the risk of being exposed to swine flu that has already hit the 1,00,000 mark in the UK.
