Police have released all the six persons on bail, including her husband, who were arrested on Wednesday for the alleged killing of Geeta Aulakh. The 28-year-old was found dead with her hand cut off in West London. (Read: Who was Geeta Aulakh?)
Police said the six men were released on bail and told to return in January.
Her husband Harpreet, who she split up with sometime ago, also lives in the same area. He was also arrested and was questioned by the police along with five other men.
Investigators believe it was in Greenford West London that Geeta was attacked and left to die. She had left work and was on her way to pick up her two children from the child minders home.
Passersby found Geeta with fatal head injuries and one of her hands cut off.
Geeta married 31-year-old Harpreet against her parents' wishes. He is said to have been very upset when she left him with their two young sons.
Her friends described the man as someone who never seemed to have a job and was happy to live off her. Apparently, divorce proceedings had been initiated.
