German chancellor Angela Merkel was greeted by a beer shower at a high profile event on Tuesday when a waiter spilled a tray of beer glasses on her.
As the waiter leaned over to place the glasses on the table, he sent five glasses of beer pouring down Merkel's back.
Angela Merkel, arguably European Union's most powerful politician, seemed unfazed by the incident and took it surprisingly well.
