Pak claims to have arrested Indian spy

Lahore:

Pakistani authorities have claimed to have arrested an Indian "spy," staying in the city without a passport.

The alleged spy was identified as Baram Khan, the son of Jooray Khan of Barmer city in Rajasthan by the Pakistani police.

He was arrested while living in the walled quarters of Lahore without a passport, said Superintendent of Police Omar Virk of the Crime Investigation Agency.

"Khan, during his interrogation, confessed that he had crossed the border in Rahim Yar Khan district in February 2009 and reached Lahore. He was staying at an inn in the disguise of a mentally deranged person," Virk claimed.
