Pak: No guarantees against 26/11 sequels

London: As world leaders meet in London to discuss the volatile situation in Afghanistan, the possibility of a bilateral meeting between the Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan remains uncertain.

Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said he did not expect any such meeting to take place, claiming that India had no clarity about talking to Islamabad.

Controversially he said the Pakistan's Prime Minister was only being realistic when he said Islamabad could make no guarantees against another 26/11 strike.

He also reiterated what the Pak Prime Minister had said, that Pakistanis are also victims of extremist elements. He said that extremist elements sometimes get away.

Qureshi also claimed that India lacks the oomph to resume dialogue and he did not expect any bilateral meeting with SM Krishna to take place in London.

Referring to the IPL fiasco, he said it has worsened tensions between the two countries.

He also said the Indian dossiers don't have enough evidence against Hafiz Saeed, the man who India says masterminded 26/11.
