Islamabad:
India and Pakistan will hold Foreign Secretary level talks on February 25 in New Delhi. But while Pakistan has denied any preconditions, its leaders are pressing for a composite dialogue and made it clear Kashmir is top on their agenda.
Now, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has equated Kashmir to Palestine, saying peace will remain elusive in South Asia and the Middle East unless these issues are resolved.
During a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Gilani said: "The resolution of the Palestine issue finds resonance in the just and peaceful struggle of Kashmiri people for self-determination."
"People of Palestine and occupied Kashmir are fighting for their just right of self-determination," he added.
