Islamabad:

US special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke, has expressed reservations over the release of Jamat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed during his visit to Pakistan.

"His release has disturbed us all," said Holbrooke.

However, Washington's envoy added that the United States would continue to give military aid to Pakistan, including 17 helicopters.

A US delegation led by Holbrooke is slated to visit Swat and adjoining areas in Pakistan's restive NWFP to take stock of the situation in refugee camps housing lakhs of displaced people due to the ongoing military offensive against Taliban.

Holbrooke will be in Pakistan till June 5. He is leading a delegation of US officials from the Department of State, USAID, and the Department of Defence.

There are no plans as of now for the delegation to visit neighboring countries Afghanistan and India.
