The Pakistan Navy has commissioned a new frigate built with Chinese help.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani congratulated the navy chief, Admiral Nauman Bashir, on the successful commissioning of the frigate, PNS Aslat, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
"He said the new frigate, a joint venture between Pakistan and China, was yet another milestone of the long-standing friendship between the two countries."
