A leading Pakistan lawmaker Yaqub Bizenjo was injured in a bomb blast in his house in the posh Khyaban-e-Rahat area of Karachi, which also wounded three others.
Police said the high-intensity blast occurred when the occupants of the house opened a parcel sent to the residence of the lawmaker, Geo TV reported.

The parcel bomb caused damaged to the building and the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital. Minutes after the blast, police put a strong security cordon around the house.
