A passenger on a Chinese plane with more than 100 people aboard was subdued early Sunday after allegedly trying to damage the cabin during landing in southern China, state media reported.
Two of the 95 passengers aboard the flight suffered injuries and were taken to hospital, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
The unidentified passenger who allegedly created the disturbance on Shenzhen Airlines flight ZH9648 was detained, it said.
The plane was travelling from the city of Taizhou in eastern China's Zhejiang province to Guangzhou in the early hours of Sunday morning when the passenger tried to "damage facilities" during landing, according to the report.
It was unclear from reports how exactly the passenger had tried to damage the plane. He was subdued by cabin crew and other passengers, Xinhua said.
The plane carried a total of 95 passengers and nine crew members, it said.
