A petrol bomb attack in a Shiite village in Bahrain killed a policeman.
Dubai:
A petrol bomb attack in a Shiite village in Bahrain on Saturday killed a policeman and gravely wounded two more, the Gulf state's interior ministry said.
"A policeman was martyred in a terrorist Molotov cocktail attack in Kerdabad" village, a tweet from the ministry reported.
It said an enquiry had begun into the attack which also seriously injured two officers.
The Sunni-ruled but Shiite-majority Gulf kingdom has been rocked by sporadic violence since a Shiite-led uprising in 2011 demanding political reform was suppressed.
