Dublin:
A commuter plane carrying 10 passengers and two crew members crashed in flames at Cork airport in Ireland today, although no details of casualties were available, aviation officials said.
The accident happened as the Metroliner SW4 turbo prop aircraft made a second attempt to land at the airport in southern Ireland, the Irish Aviation Authority said in a statement.
"There is a fire and debris has been scattered onto the runway and over a wide area," the statement said.
"No details of injuries or fatalities are available."
