Kharkiv, Ukraine: A Dutch military aircraft carrying remains of victims of the Malaysian plane which was downed over eastern Ukraine has departed for the Netherlands.

All 298 people - most of them Dutch citizens - aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 were killed. Wreckage of the Boeing 777 fell on territory controlled by pro-Russian separatists, and U.S. officials say the plane was probably shot down by a missile, most likely by accident.

The Dutch military plane left the government-controlled city of Kharkiv on Thursday, one of the two planes tasked to bring dozens of coffins to the Netherlands.
