Kabul:
Just ahead of the presidential elections in Afghanistan, a huge blast rocked capital Kabul on Saturday. The blast reportedly killed 7 and injured 100.
The blast appeared to be in the diplomatic zone where embassies and bases of NATO and US troops are located.
The blast sent plumes of smoke into the sky.
According to a Defence Ministry spokesman, the blast was caused by a suicide car bomb.
Officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
