St Petersburg:
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sang and played piano while participating in a charity event in St. Petersburg on Friday evening.
The charity was organised for children suffering from cancer. Numerous celebrities from Europe and the United States came to the northern Russian capital to support the event.
During the evening Vladimir Putin played the Russian song "From Where Does The Motherland Begin" on the piano and then sung "Blueberry Hill" (originally by US artist Fats Domino) in English.
Amongst the celebrities taking part were singer Paul Anka, US actors Kurt Russel, Goldie Hawn, Sharon Stone, Kevin Costner and Mickey Rourke, as well as European actors Alain Delon, Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel.
