Russian train derailment: Indian missing

Moscow: An Indian national was reported missing after an express Russian train carrying hundreds of passengers from Moscow to St Petersburg derailed by a blast under the tracks.

Rajesh R, holder of passport 33 E 1906224, was travelling in bogey number 10 from which last three bogies - 11, 12 and 13, detached and went off the tracks, according to list of passengers of the Neva Express train.

With high probability of Rajesh's survival his name is not in the list of injured and hospitalised people.

The authorities are yet to release names of victims and missing persons, who could have left the accident site on their own.

Three bogies of the Neva Express went off the tracks near the town of Bologoye on the border between Tver and Novgorod regions, killing at least 39 people and injuring 95 others.
