Hundreds of women supporters of South Africa's ruling ANC marched on the British High Commission on Monday, demanding the extradition of Shrien Dewani, wanted for the killing of his bride in Cape Town.
A group of about 200 women handed over a demand to the High Commission, indicating they "strongly believe that he (Dewani) must be extradited to South Africa and stand trial."
Three South African men who have been charged for their roles in Anni Dewani's death in 2010 have said Shrien ordered the honeymoon hit on his wife, which was made to look like a car hijacking.
A British court last week ruled that Shrien Dewani, who is being treated at a psychiatric hospital for depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, was not yet fit to face extradition to South Africa.
A judge set his extradition hearing for July after hearing that the 32-year-old was now a "husk" of a man who suffers flashbacks of the night his wife was killed.
Dewani, was unharmed during the accident while the "hijackers" sped off with Anni, a Swedish citizen of Indian origin.
She was shot and her body was discovered the following day.
