Moscow:
A drunk man racing at 200 kilometres per hour through Moscow slammed into a bus stop queue today, instantly killing four children and three adults, a police spokesman said.
Another four people were injured, with one being hospitalised, Moscow authorities said.
"According to preliminary information, the driver was under the influence of alcohol," the police spokesman was quoted as saying by Interfax.
News reports said police had detained the suspect. The children were aged between 14 and 16n years.
The incident happened in western Moscow in a sparsely populated part of the city near its main film studio.
