Abuja: A court in Nigeria has sentenced three Indian nationals to 15 years in prison for oil theft.
The convicts - Ajay Bhatia, Sailesh Kumar Singh and Chadrashekar Sharma - were among 12 oil theft suspects, including eight other Indians, one Ghanaian and a Nigerian arrested in 2012, the Nigerian Tribune reported on Thursday.
The suspects were arraigned on a two-count charge before Justice Lambo Akanbi Jan 22, 2013, in Balyesa state.
Others were acquitted of the charges.
