Karachi:
At least three persons were killed and 15 others injured on Tuesday when a passenger train collided with a freight train near a railway station in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi.
The Allama Iqbal Express collided with the cargo train near Jumma Goth Station. Senior railway officials said the collision was caused by a "mix-up" over signals.
Rescue workers and local residents helped pull passengers out of the mangled bogies of the Allama Iqbal Express.
