Colombo:
Top officials from India have rushed to Sri Lanka with Lanka appearing to be hardening its position for a military settlement with the LTTE.
National security adviser, the Defence Secretary and the Foreign Secretary reached Colombo on Friday morning for talks with the Lankan government.
The officials met Sri Lankan Defence Secretary and are also meeting an important pro-LTTE leader. On Saturday, they will meet the Lankan president.
The visit comes just days after the Sri Lankan Army chief talked up a military solution, saying Sri Lankan Army will capture LTTE leader Prabhakaran alive.
