Detroit:
Detroit police say they have arrested two more men in connection with the severe mob beating of a suburban motorist who had accidentally hit a 10-year-old boy who stepped in front of his truck.
Sgt. Michael Woody said a 30-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night and a 24-year-old on Monday afternoon. That brings to four the number arrested in the assault of 54-year-old Steve Utash after the accident on Wednesday.
A 17-year-old has been charged with assault and faces arraignment Tuesday. The fourth is a 16-year-old who hasn't been charged but is being held in a juvenile detention facility.
Woody says Utash, of Macomb County's Clinton Township, is in a medically-induced coma.
The boy was treated for a leg injury.
The case has outraged the public, clergy and elected officials.
