Days after the elections in Britain threw up a hung Parliament, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said that his Labour will begin formal talks with Liberal Democrats for government formation.
Speaking on Monday, Brown said, "My duty is to make sure government continues and I want Labour Party to elect a new leader.
Brown also announced that he will resign by September. "I have no desire to stay in my position longer than needed," he said.
