London:
A secondary school at the centre of an alleged Islamist plot to take control of the curriculum of schools in Birmingham, Britain's second largest city, will be censured for failing to combat extremist threats, a media report said.
Park View Academy - rated as outstanding in 2012 - will be downgraded to inadequate by inspectors next week, The Guardian said.
UK schools inspectorate Ofsted began inspections after claims that hardline Muslims were trying to takeover schools in Birmingham, which has nearly 22 per cent Muslim population according to the 2011 census, under the so-called "Operation Trojan Horse."
The findings of the controversial report are due to be published - along with those into another 20 schools - on Monday.
While Ofsted's inspection of Park View is not thought to have found any evidence of extremist behaviour, the report concludes the academy did not do enough to adequately warn students to the risks of extremism.
Park View has not publicly responded to the leaked report. School governors, however, have repeatedly denied it promotes radicalism.
According to the Trojan Horse plot there had been a longstanding attempt by conservative Islamists to hijack school governing bodies.
Five other Birmingham schools which underwent the Department for Education's special inspections are expected to be put into special measures.
Reports leaked on Thursday found two of those schools had been rated as inadequate.
Park View is one of five mainly Muslim schools expected to receive Ofsted's lowest rating.
