Moscow:
Russian President Vladimir Putin will not accept a peace proposal from his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Porochenko with the "characteristics of an ultimatum" for separatists in eastern Ukraine, he said Saturday.
"Mr Porochenko's peace plan should not have the characteristics of an ultimatum for the insurgents", Putin said in a statement.
"The proposed plan, if it is not followed by concrete moves towards a dialogue, will be neither viable nor realistic," he said.
