Kiev:
The Ukrainian government has called for local elections to be held on December 7 in the separatist east under legislation submitted Tuesday offering the area limited self-rule.
The elections would be held in certain districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions that are currently under the control of pro-Russian rebels, according to the draft law.
