London:
A day of spectacular Diwali celebrations would be held on November 16 in a borough in east England.
The Watford Borough Council's Big Events series will feature performances from various regions across India, including Kathak and Bollywood dancing, as well as singing.
Elected Mayor Dorothy Thornhill said: "Watford is proud of its diversity and I'm delighted that we are celebrating it with this very special Diwali event. The day offers a chance for people of all ages to have fun, learn and be part of the community."
Watford Palace Theatre would hosting a stunning performance of the timeless and epic tale Janak Dulari Sita: King Janak's beloved daughter Sita in the evening.
