Kellogg's has launched a criminal and internal investigation after a video surfaced online that appears to show a man urinating over a production line at a company plant in Tennessee.
"The video was uploaded Friday to the site World Star Hip Hop", said the TV channel KTLA.
Some US media suggested that the video may have been shot during a labor dispute between Kellogg's and employees.
"Our investigation revealed that the video was recorded at our Memphis, TN facility, in 2014. We are outraged by this completely unacceptable situation, and we will work closely with authorities to prosecute to the full extent of the law," said the statement.
The company said products that could have been affected include the famous Rice Krispies cereal, but that all the products would be past the expiration date.
