Qunduz, Afghanistan:
Several hundred Afghan university students clashed with police and set fire to photographs of US President Barack Obama in yet another protest on Tuesday against an American film insulting Islam.
The rally in the northern city of Kunduz came as a woman suicide bomber blew herself up in Kabul, killing 12 people, including nine foreigners, in an attack that Afghan insurgents said was to avenge the low-budget trailer.
The students threw stones at police, who pushed them back from the main road outside the university, and chanted "Death to America", an AFP reporter said.
On Monday, hundreds of Afghans staged a violent protest in Kabul for the first time against the film, throwing stones at a US base and torching cars.
