These include the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire and Virginia.

Tens of millions of voters across the United States have already cast their vote early. These votes were sent in either by mail or by visiting the polling station in person. According to data from the University of Florida's Election Lab more than 82 million voters across the US had already voted before the main election day.
