A wave of car bomb and suicide bomb blasts has rocked Baghdad and a northern Iraqi town, raising the day's death toll to at least 46 killed, said officials.
According to reports, car bomb and suicide bomb blasts struck in Baghdad and the northern town of Tuz Khormato as Iraqis are celebrating this week's Eid al-Adha holiday, killing 31.
The late afternoon and evening attacks follow a bombing earlier in the day in a northern village that left another 15 dead.
Hospital officials confirmed the casualties. Officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorised to release the information.
