Florida:
A north Florida woman has been charged with dousing her boyfriend's genital area with gasoline and setting him on fire after police say the two got into an argument Saturday.
The woman's boyfriend is in the hospital.
The victim, Andrew Williams and his girlfriend were in the middle of a heated argument when things escalated.
Helen Hector, the boy's mother said, "She said that he got some explaining to do to me...she was just jealous of him because she hadn't seen him in a week."
That's when police say the woman, Victoria Byrnes threw gasoline at her boyfriend's crotch and lit it on fire.
Witnesses say they clearly remember how it happened.
"When I saw the flames, umm, that's when I just run over and the guys were telling him to drop", a witness said.
Helen Hector, the boyfriend's mother said, "They told him to roll. Roll! Roll!"
Williams is recovering from second and third-degree burns.
Police arrested Byrnes at her home.
She has been charged with aggravated battery and was released on 10-thousand-dollars bail.
