Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson also told Taitusi the things they both have in common.
New Delhi:
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to Instagram to share an emotional shout out to a 13-year old boy, Taitusi, who lives in Hawaii and is currently suffering from a life threatening illness.
WWE superstar-turned-Hollywood golden boy referred to Taituisi as "one of the coolest and most amazing kids" and added, "you are stronger than I will ever be. Ever be" as he choked up.
He explains in his video that he'd recently received a call from the Make-A-Wish foundation and that although he couldn't visit Taitusi, he already knew "so much" about him.
'The Fast And The Furious' actor then told Taitusi the things they have in common.
'You love chicken, I love chicken. Your favorite colour is red, I love red. You love to play Call Of Duty, I suck at Call Of Duty. You love pancakes, I love pancakes." he said.
Dwayne Johnson seemed to connect with his fan on an emotional level and promised that he would "go crazy on Rice Krispies Treats" this weekend for a cheat meal, in Taitusi's honour.
Towards the end of the video, the action hero looked overwhelmed with emotion, but had some final words of encouragement for his off-screen friend in Honolulu.
Johnson also gushed over Taitusi in his video caption, writing, "Even though we've never met... I just want you to know how amazing and special of [a] young boy you are. You inspire every single person around you right now. Including me."
